The University of the Aegean Library and Information Centre is enlisted in the Centralized Internship Support System for Greek Higher Education Students “ATLAS” as an Internship Reception Body by participating in the internship programmes for University and Technical Education Institute students. The Internship program aims to increase students’ knowledge and skill sets that enable them to put into practice what they have learned, and benefit from real working conditions.

Internship applicants attending the programme in the Library branches are:

• Students of the Ionian University Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology
• Students of the Department of Library Science and Information Systems of the Technological Education Institute of Athens and Thessaloniki and
• Students of the Units (Schools and Departments) of the University of the Aegean

Applicants must register to the ATLAS support system by selecting the user group they belong to in order to obtain information about the internship opportunities at the University of the Aegean Library. To apply for an internship position, students must contact the Internship Office of their University Unit (School or Department), which is responsible to complete the application.
